I’ve developed successful brands for leading colleges, universities, and nonprofits. I’ve led the reputation management initiatives of top-tier institutions at critical points in their evolution. During my early career as an Emmy award-winning television producer, I was part of a team that launched the international cable news channel of The Christian Science Monitor, one of the most iconic media brands in recent history.
I’ve held senior communications leadership positions throughout my career, acting as chief spokesperson for the institutions I represented. These have included Harvard, Radcliffe, MIT, Antioch, The Longy School of Music at Bard College, Trinity College, Vermont College of Fine Arts, Sarah Lawrence, and The University of New Haven.
Prior to focusing on strategic education and nonprofit communications, I was at the helm of my brand consultancy in Boston, advising companies such as Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, Polaroid, IDG, Navigant Consulting, and Technology Review Magazine, as well as numerous emerging technology start-ups and small businesses.
Lyn’s deep understanding of marketing and communications strategy was of significant value in our work at Vermont College of Fine Arts. In her role as VP of Marketing, she was instrumental in bringing our model of low-residency graduate education to the national stage.
